The Shinden was a prototype local fighter developed by the Imperial Japanese Navy at the end of World War II. It has a unique fuselage shape with a forward wing. It was planned to be a high-speed fighter with a maximum speed of over 400 knots (approx. 740 km/h). The prototype was completed in June 1945, and a test flight was conducted in August of the same year, which marked the end of the war. Its abbreviated code was J7W1.
