The MP5 is a German submachine gun manufactured by Heckler and Koch in the 1960's. With millions manufactured and sold, it is widely considered the best submachine gun ever made. It would be adopted by many police counter-terrorist units and military special forces worldwide. Compared to modern offerings, the MP5 is somewhat dated; the caliber offerings is essentially limited to 9mm Parabellum, the bolt will not remain open on an empty magazine, the standard forend lacks any form of accessorization, and it uses a propietary HK scope mount. However, when most military forces use 9mm Parabellum and aftermarket accessories can recitify the issue with the handguard and scope mount, there isn't much of a reason to use something else. This is a remaster of an older MP5 build originally made by YuukaNeko. By remaster, I mean "make something completely new." MP5K and MP5SD builds are forthcoming in the future.
