The Observer
Based on the idea of a patrol ship with an eye-like spherical cockpit, this aircraft makes extensive use of the new gyroscope part.
-Controls:
-Thrust is as usual, recommand staying in the 30% to 50% range for controlled ascent/descent
-Pitch controls the eye orientation together with guns, rocket pods and projector lights
-Roll allows for banking to the sides 45°
-Yaw is as usual
-VTOL controls the thrusters' orientation like in VTOL applications
-Trim controls the pitch attitude: as you'll notice the thrust is not always aligned to the CoG, and during maneuvers or horizontal flight this balance shifts. Therefore, the trim helps you compensate that. It can also be handy during hover maneuvers for accurate horizontal speed adjustments.
-AG1: lights
-AG2: main guns
-AG3: auxiliary autocannons
-AG4: Parachutes
-AG5: drop auxiliary fuel tank
-AG8: gyroscopes
