RocketLL's Cargo Challenge - Hovercraft with cranes
* I know it can hold a lot more weight, but I wanted it to look as though it were carrying cargo, rather than a big slab of cheddar cheese :/.
The dock workers have all gone home. But, if you want to try your hand at loading some crates, I won't stop you. Heck, I'll even tell you what to do!
To pilot the craft, use Throttle and Yaw. You can somewhat keep it from drifting by over-steering, then lightly correcting the turn. There are RCS thrusters that will slow your slide as you do this.
The crane parts are color-coded: Green, Yellow, Pink and Orange.
They are numbered 1-3, and represented by 3 sets of triangles.
There are small triangles on the arms that represent the direction they will move using higher values.
The claw uses number 7.
#1 Base left/Right
#2 Lower arm
#3 Upper arm
#7 Claw
#8 Engines
First, Disable the engines by pressing 8.
Utilizing 1,2,3 and 7 with Throttle and VTOL, use the crane to pick up a box and load it into the pile. (I left a space for you ;) )
Throttle controls almost everything so you will want to disable each number before using the next, otherwise you'll loose your setup! Luckily you can avoid messing up by remembering the values.
I used Throttle because it has a data value for the position of the rotator joint. VTOL has something similar, except it can rotate in the opposite direction as well; It swivels the base.
** Numbers 4,5 and 6 will operate the second crane, although the claw has been disabled due to a lack of numbers available. It has been colored black to represent its un-usability.
** There are no doors at the moment, but they are giving me a hard time so I left them off for now.
** Last time I checked the entries, there was 1 other vehicle than could manually load the blocks. Well.. this could carry it too :3
