Sometime between the T5 getting adopted and the army scandal surfacing, there was also an effort to convert some of the existing and abundant T4 series MBTs into missile tank destroyers, known as the Caracal MTD. Doing so would help standardize the military as it was using 125mm, 115mm, and 130mm shells. The Caracal MTD mounted a modified CRAT II launcher with 20 missiles.
