Jagdpanzer 38(t) "Hetzer"
Info:
The Jagdpanzer 38(t) für 7.5cm Pack 39 was a German tank destroyer built in World War II. Despite manufacturing errors, it proved to be quite a capable ambush vehicle, giving it the nickname "Hetzer". This name however was never actually official and was a misnomer developed between miscommunication with the Germans and the Cechz. This powerful tank destroyer is armed with a 75mm Pack 39 cannon, as the technical name implies. The front upper glacies plate was 60mm thick and angled at 60 degrees. This made for an overall effective armor thickness of 120mm. The overall low profile and superb frontal armor were what made this tank an effective Sherman killer. However, since it was based on the Panzerkampfwagen 38, the vehicle was significantly underpowered and had a poor hull traverse speed. Since the sides of the vehicle were especially thin, this made it an easy target if not positioned correctly. The crew quarters were also quite cramped, with the loader needing to reach over the gun to reach the secondary ammunition storage.
Information is from my mind, but if you want to I use Chris Bishop's WW2 Encyclopedia for a lot of my research on WW2 armored vehicles
Features:
The exact shape and size of the real vehicle for simple planes
I did the cool "hogs-head" gun mantlet. I got the shape of it down to what the blueprints had and I am quite proud of it.
The Gunner's sight is in the correct place, which is the small part on the top of the vehicle that moves with the gun, sadly due to time constraints I was not able to make the sight a real sight, just a camera
Sadly, there are no internals. I did not have a lot of time to make this since I am pretty busy over the holidays, so it is made with full fuselages and is solid to make it easier for me to make it fast.
Controlls:
Pitch=Forward/Backward and Brake
Roll= Turning
VTOL = Horizontal Gun traverse
Trim = Verticale Gun traverse
group 1 activates the roof-mounted machine gun's traverse.

@CalebRepublic what scale do you suggest?
@Sakorsky one more thing that you could try is to see how much it floats if the wheels are extremely thin. It appears to me that simple planes does not modify the colliders of the wheels at the same scale of the visual mesh renderer.
@AlexRol05 that is extreamly weird. I dont know why that happened bcs the version that I have on my computer does not do that but the versoin that is posted does. I will post the fixed version later today
there is a issue with the tracks, I don't know if you uploaded the wrong file but the one that is downloaded has the tracks broken, or more specifically, disconnected so they don't work, could you fix that issue please? I really want to try your tank.
they also do not respond to forward/backward commands.
@CalebRepublic hey man, sorry to bother you but can you possibly help me with my tracks? I still don't understand it. I'm making a light tank right now, I'd appreciate your help and further explanation.
Tutel
@CalebRepublic of course.
@CalebRepublic thank you so much.
@Sakorsky Also, outside of your challenge, are you fine with me making some updated versions of this? I want to make some camouflaged ones. 1 each for forest, desert, and winter conditions. These all would be completely outside of your challenge, I just want to make sure it does not mess with your end of things
@Sakorsky I used wheels that I XML scaled to be really thin. You also have to turn the "part collision response" to "none' and the "disable aircraft collisions" to "true" to ensure that it does not mess if the physics too much. Even outside of challenges I like to do it this way. Gives off more of the "Simple Planes vibe" for me.

How did you make the tracks like that? I always fail.
@CalebRepublic impressive.
@Sakorsky Sorry for it being right at the deadline, I am pretty busy over the holidays. I hope that it is not too late wherever you are.
