VC RJ Cutlass XF7U-4 8.0
Introduction
Anyone ever wonder what the Cutlass could have become? Well i did =) I moved the engine pod below the wing, this allows for more fuel storage in the wing, easier access to maintain / replace engines and also had the advantage of allowing for some larger engines to be mounted without a complete remodel of the airframe.
Here we see it in a colour scheme from after it was "retired" from military service and now in the hands of a private contractor that works with the RAF to provide fast jets for RAF training (they actually fly Hunters and have at least 1 Buccaneer and 1 Phantom - which are grounded at present as far as i know, not to mention the Fitter.)
Controls
AG1 = starts the engine (reheat on auto after 90%ish throttle)
AG3 = airbrake
AG4 = arrestor hook
AG6 = manual jettison drop tanks (auto drop set for 650mph ish)
AG7 = fold wings
Note: slats operate automatically at 300mph

OOOOOOOOH F7U CUTLASS!!!! instant favorite of mine. Chance-Vought made some of the best aircraft ever to be used by the US, shame they don't get more recognition.
