Made in 1940, the AA 15 was built just in time for World War II.despite the fact that it wasn’t built to be a warplane, it was used as such. It was fairly effective as a troop carrier, but suffered, due to low speed and lack of protection for the crew. Nicknamed “The Flathead”, for its flat top, it was beloved by airline pilots after the war because of it’s easy handling and autopilot.
