Nation of Origin: Ryclia
Role: Maritime Fighter Bomber
First Flight: 10th April 1949
Introduction: 29th September 1951
Status: Retired 1961 (several in museums)

The C.CR-1 Gabbiano (Seagull) was one of Ryclia's first jet powered aircraft and the first aircraft to be developed by the nation post second global war as a carrier based aircraft.

As a result of experiences from the Hon Kain Crisis shortly after the Second Global War and the the conceptulization of a cooperation with most of the Eoslian continent against the growing threat of Andosnia and its rise to a world superpower, the North-east Eoslia Treaty Organization (NEETO) issued specifications for a carrier based, light attack/ fighter aircraft to be issued on the new Iosian built aircraft carriers. The competition was intended to produce an aircraft that was light, small, expendable, equipped with basic weapons and avionics and capable of operating with minimal to no ground support. These specifications were developed for two reasons: the first was the nuclear threat to naval bases, many cheaper aircraft could be better dispersed, and the other was to counter the trend towards larger and more expensive aircraft.

I think maybe showcase a few of your favourite aircraft of the week or month maybe? Show some multiplayer (if you use it) and some of the dog fights. Also crashing the planes into the bridges is always entertaining hahaha. You could also even just show how to do certain things newer players find hard and new techniques you’ve learnt. I feel like if you made some posts in the forums about it you’d have a few new subs too. @LegnaK

@Mustang51 I've definitely considered it, I just was unsure what exactly I should do for a series.

Now this is a really cool plane! I just noticed you had a gaming YouTube channel and I didn’t see any SimplePlanes stuff! You should upload some SP videos maybe, I don’t see them too much and it would be nice to have more youtubers making them
