AGM-116A
Initially I was not going to publish it, however I noticed an interesting behaviour of the missile.
I named the missile and the warhead with the same name, and after loading, I was able to launch the missile without locking on anything. I added the "waterproof" function to the missile, and thanks to that I was able to launch the missile completely under water, without it changing its course towards any target, since it actually didn't have one.
Furthermore, when I launched from the Wright Final Approach location, I was able to launch the missile at the USS Tiny, without prior lock-in.
When launching more than one missile, there is a chance that a bomb will detach from the body despite being set to AG-9, i.e being completely inactive.
In other case, however, two missiles will be launched at the same time, both heading towards the same target (if present), or flying alongside and possibly crashing into one another.
This just gave me an idea how to finally make a thing I was trying to build since the day one of my SP adventure.
On that note, I recently passed 4 years on this site. Yay!
I was highly inactive because of lack of time during school, and loss of interest in building ANYTHING.
Yep @Oski
@JustDatGuy and it was my first try! lmao
I’ve been messing with putting stuff as the same name for a while, trying to make it do something like this. You beat me to it!
@WarshipDude nope, you can open the missile with Overload and see exactly what I changed.
@Oski ahh, you have that 360 degrees lock arent you?
@Nicnic it doesn't visibly lock, but when you select a target and launch it, it will fly towards the target
@shipster
I noticed the same thing a while ago when I was making a KAB-500KR guided bomb
yeah...it doesn’t lock onto anything @Nicnic
It’s cool but it don’t lock on destroyers
