@38460 when piston are in the closed position, their length is exactly 1, so i just used that fact to get it right

@38460 well mostly what I did here was have it close really tightly and decreased the closure bit by bit

@38460 I just have a bunch of preset alignments(1,0.875,0.75,0.625,0.5,0.375,0.25,0.125,0.0625,0) and yes this is open for use
