The Dragoon is a family of 8x8 developed by the Paternian company Dragon Defense Corporation. Like the earlier MWAV series, it comes in 4x4, 6x6, and 8x8 configurations. The Paternian Army adopted the 8x8 configuration as the Modular Wheeled Amored Vehicle M1150 Dragoon.

It departs from the Stallion MWAV in that it is specifically designed to form the basis of a unit, in what is known as the Dragoon Brigade Combat Team.

The Paternian Army plans to expand the fleet to the following:

M1152 IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle)
M1153 RV (Reconnaissance)
M1154 SPG (Self-Propelled Gun)
M1155 MC (Mortar Carrier)
M1156 CV (Command Vehicle)
M1157 FCV (Fire Control Vehicle)
M1158 ECV (Engineer Combat Vehicle)
M1159 MEV (Medical Evacuation Vehicle)
M1160 ATGM (Anti-Tank Guided Missile)
M1161 NBC RV (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle)
M1162 SPH (Self-Propelled Howitzer, cancelled)
M1163 AD (Air Defense)
M1164 HEL (High-Energy Laser)

Of these, the IFV, SPG, MC, ATGM, SPH, AD, and HEL variants will be made on own volition. Others will be build to request. In addition, customized vehicles with a 6x6 or 4x4 chassi are available, but will take aditional time. This particular variant is an M1151 APC with double V-Hull kit.
