Edit- Yes i am aware that DD 65 is the davids, there is a reason i chose that number however, something a bit special about the davids.

USS washington is a ship from the terrifyingdepths of my imagination. The frontal facing turrets were inspired by the HMS Nelson class of battleships, however, the US navy recognized that the nelsons unique turret arrangement was rendered moot due to the lack of ability to fire all guns while bow in. It is as such, that while the USS washington only has 2 127mm guns, they can each fire upto 70 rounds a minute, and can fire even while the ship is perfectly bow in. The guns feature autoloaders, much like the des moines class heavy cruisers, which is what allows their phenominal rate of fire.
