Back in 1990s, where Wright Air had a few Airbus jets, mostly 44 A300s, and 12 A320-111s, Wright Air placed an order of 35 A340-300 in 1990, this was made to replace 15 747-2W7s that Wright Air had, the original 35 A340-300s are still in service to this day, along with early 14 A330-323s and late Trent 700 powered 127 A330-343s, WH-ECS was originally painted in Wright Air colors until in 2014, it had to go repainting to Star Alliance colors. Wright used to have 3 Star Alliance airlines, firstly, Wright Air, which is a national carrier, secondly, Flywings Air, which eventually merged with the flag carrier, and thirdly, Wright North Airlines, now, only two are remaining.
