Archaeopter
The Archaeopter is the most recognizable flying machine of the Adeptus Mechanicus's Skitarii legions. Built to serve a multitude of roles on the battlefield, the Archaeopter features a powerful VTOL function, the ability to hover midair for precision bombing and paradropping. It also features a rear weapons hardpoint for a turret, bomb rack, or other customizations.
Based on the Archaeopter model from the game Warhammer 40,000. All credit for the original design goes to Games Workshop(although I built this replica myself)
Controls:
Acts 1-6: none
Act 7: activates rear turret and full gyro. Must deactivate Act 8.
Act 8: Takeoff/landing gyro. Make sure to keep this on during takeoff and landing, but it's not necessary for horizontal flight.
Landing Gear: toggles the custom landing gear
Pro tips for flying: pull throttle up to 80% to hover in place, and only bring the VTOL up to the upper middle notch if you want to retain most of your maneuverability. Keeping the VTOL at the top will nearly sacrifice all turning ability, but will dramatically increase your speed.
