Activate 2 - air brake, if the aircraft is landed with the airbrake deployed and the wheel brakes are used then a drag parachute will automatically be deployed
Activate 3 - Eject
Activate 4 - Recovery Chute
Activate 5 - Starts main engine
Activate 6 - Enables afterburner
Activate 7 - Deploys landing hook for carrier landing
Activate 8 - Only activate this on the ground, it will deflect the flaps upwards to assist with breaking
