HASB.350 A0-1 "Ente"
The HASB.350 "Ente" , a medium , high altitude bomber was the result of the invention of the M153 engine . When the enginers at Tomahair brought the rights to use it , they instantly started to work on a plane capable of carrying cargo and bombs for Germany . It needed to be fast and carry at least a 250pds bomb , after almost a year of work , it was finished in 1942 . The HASB.350 "Ente" or "duck" due to it's high wing profile . With a crew of 6 members (2 pilots , 3 gunners and one optional crew for the bombs) and 3 defensive 7.92mm machine guns , it almost didn't need a fighter escort when flying . In addition it's high speed of around 400km/h loaded and 500km/h empty made it possible to escape any situation. Around 5000 planes where built but due to it's high price and fuel consuption , it was used only on high importance missions . I was decomisioned when the first jet fighters got deployed by the Allies . It just couldn't match them in any way . Today , most of the remaining ones are stocked on museums or owned by rich collectors.
