About EP-AWZ

This aircraft was ordered by British Midland and was built with serial number 11497. It made its first flight on 11/11/1994 and was delivered to this company twenty days later with the registration G-BVJC. In 2001 the company changed its name to BMI and the aircraft flew for it until October 2004.
After some time parked at Nottingham Airport, transferred to Fokker on 23/05/2005 to register PH-AFO. In June of the same year, it was bought by the Spanish company Girjet and leased to Spanair in the same month with the EC-JJM registration. On 18.02.2008 the aircraft returned to Girjet and was put up for sale.
Iran Air Transport Company (which changed its name to Naft Airlines since December 2008) bought this plane from A/C Financing & Trading and on 09/09/2008 [corresponding to September 19, 2008] with the register EP-AWZ from the airports Wonsdrecht of Holland, Liège of Belgium and Burgas of Bulgaria entered Ahvaz Airport.
In the summer of 2016, the name of this company was changed from Naft Airlines to Karon, so that the transfer and sale of this company was done by the Oil Industry Pension Fund Investment Company.
