@fernado475 the only german bomber that tops out the ju-88 is the dornier do335 arrow (yes this is realy a bomber with bomb bay).

Well in my opinion the Ju-88 is one of Germany’s finest bombers @Irobert55

Also Bf/Me 109s were limited by short range as well. They couldn’t be over England longer than 30 minutes @Irobert55

@fernado475 the me bf 109 had a gasoline in jection system. the problem with the running out of fuel when climbing is more or less typical for all planes. the eraly war typhoon fighters of the raf used engines with a carborator that lead to some issues when making evasive maneuvers.

Well I knew that the Messerschmitt Bf109s couldn’t climb for too long or the gas wouldn’t make it into the cylinders @Irobert55

@fernado475 the engines of this plane were the basic for the engine of the british chieftain tanks engines. there not very good. oh and the reason why the engines of the ju 86 were bad was that they had the tendency to overheat during dogfights.

Didn’t know that. Yet something else to the long list of reasons why it wasn’t very successful @Irobert55
