M28 Anti-Material Rifle

147k Pilotmario  8.7 years ago

Use VTOL to control bipod angle. A long-range rifle employed by the Paternian Army against lightly armored or unarmored targets at great range. These targets include parked aircraft, radar dishes, light watercraft, trucks, armored cars, and the tracks and optics of a tank. It fires a .50 caliber round capable of striking a man-sized target at 3,000 yards. Mechanically, this weapon is very simple; it is a single-shot bolt-action rifle, although its barrel is equipped with a recoil buffer and a muzzle brake in order to reduce recoil, and is free-floated in order to increase accuracy. It also features a collapsing stock and a removable barrel in order to create a compact package which it can be carried easily. It is most notable for the weapon which assassinated Spartan General Adonis Ioannou, a man known for his ruthlessness and killing of POW. A Pilotmario Army Special Forces commando from a hilltop monitored air traffic from Athens Airport. His flight was delayed due to storms, and when he did board, the commando fired an armor-piercing incendiary round into the fuel tank, killing him, the pilots and his aide in the resulting explosion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I discovered your source material... the Zastava M12 Black Spear? It's a super sweet gun IRL, and I just realized this model looks alot like it

@Areonautics3 When your troops run for cover from a sniper, this gives the middle finger to cover and shoots through it.

@YuukaChan The last time I played Battlefield was 2. Before was the 1942 Expansion pack. And before was 1942 proper.

    Great game.

@Pilotmario Me being someone who never has and probably never will get into CS:GO... However, from past experience in Battlefield 3, I remember it was a really solid, early unlock bolt-action rifle. It was a great substitute for people who didn't like the SV98 (me included) and its range and accuracy were second to maybe only the M40A5 or the M98. Of course, I liked playing aggro recon, so I was all about the M417. In my opinion, it was the best bolt-action for quickscoping in MW3.

Yep. The AWP. the only good things about it is it's exceptional stationary scoped accuracy and the power to kill a player with a bodyshot at any range against an armored, full HP player. Which are simply so good that at least one person is given an AWP, despite the fact you move like molasses holding it, will not even hit the same post code if you are either not scoped or moving, and has the lowest rate of fire for any weapon in the game. @YuukaChan

@Pilotmario Oh, like the L96? I'd love to see that... It'd be interesting to see how the stock ends up looking.

@YuukaChan It's also got features from the TAC-50. Really want to make an AWP though. Because I play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and it's been borderline OP since the first of the four games.

This gun kinda looks like the TAC416 at me, but anyway, nice job. I'd really love to see another rifle modeled after the Remington M2010 ESR!

@PINK Yeah. That's why the armorers at Pilotmario Defense Industries went with a single-shot bolt-action rifle: its action is very strong compared to its weight, and is exceptionally simple. Any disadvantage in rate of fire is made up by the tactical doctrine of the rifle as a long-range precision shooter, and the fact operators are surrounded by men with K-18 assault rifles, and have automatic pistols for sidearms.

A 20mm is something to be used as more of a anti-tank or vehicle weapon. Get up on the higher floors of a building over looking a street and many vehicles and tanks would not be able to take the punishment. A tanks thinnest armor is on its roof. As for the weight, yes it could probably not be mitigated unless it was built using a light weight composite stock...but even then it wouldn't help much. However the Berret.50 is also extremely heavy. There are pros and cons of both calibers and weapons systems. @Pilotmario
