FYI: Just to give you an idea of how big this thing would be, in the cargo bay, there are two catwalks going across the roof. Those blue tubes on top of those are what the people would walk in. Those tubes WOULD BE around 9-10 feet tall. Here's a little story for the XSS-Fitzgerald:

The Private looked over at the Admiral, "Sir, more enemy ships incoming! Are we going to run?" The Admiral looked over at the Private and gave him a stare that said the answer. "Initiating engage manouver," the Private said with a hint of despair. The guns opened up and soon the vacuum was lit with fire, shells, and devastated ships. Finally, the Fitzgerald was the last American ship standing. There were still hundreds of Russian ships to meet them. Most of the guns were destroyed. The Private turned to the Admiral with pain on his face, mostly from his broken arm. "Sir, are we...going to run?" But when he said this, he already knew the answer. The Admiral gave him that same stare. "Initiating 'Final Hoorah' manouver," and with a smile this time he powered the engines to full and charged into the enemy fleet. All that was left of the Fitzgerald were an escape pod and the term, "Final Hoorah".
