Rocker SG-56 LuM
A modified SG-56 assault rifle manufactured by Rocker Arsenal for the Kaiserliche Teuton and the Luftstreitkrafte Teuton, the Teuton Navy and Air Force. Modifications include the use of non-corrosive stainless steel receivers, folding buttstock, and shortened barrel. It was intended for use with Kaiserliche Teuton-Marine Seebattalions (Imperial Teutonic Navy Marines) and Imperiale Teuton-Luftwaffe Fallschirmjager (Imperial Teutonic Air Force Paratroopers). It is therefore designated as the LuM model for Luft und Marine (lit. Air and Sea), indicating the operators who would most benefit from a rifle that can be folded into a compact package. Effective range is shortened from 400m to 350m due to the shortened barrel, but this was seen as a worthwhile sacrifice for improved compactness and maneuverability in close-quarters. As the manufacture of standard SG-56 was at capacity in the Teutonic Empire, it was decided to outsource production of the rifles to Rocker Arsenal, a Paternian company.
