This is a simpleplanes style cessna 02 skymaster. The O2 was a Forward air control and psychological operations aircraft. This means it was used for spreading propaganda using for example speakers mounted on the wings or it would drop propaganda leaflets. But the primarily use of the aircraft was Forward air control. This means the aircraft should select enemy targets on the front line and it would ensure the safety of friendly troops nearby during close air suport.
The O2 was in use by the united states air force between 1967 and 2010. In total only 532 where produced.
