One of two tail draggers in this year's competition, the Silver Stallion is a one-of-a-kind bird developed primarily by a small bicycle company located in the colony fleet's main island. Silver Bullet Cycles has been a long standing business, having been established on Earth before the fleet's departure, and continuing it's business in space aboard the colony fleet to great success (It would seem that even in space, on a 10 mile wide colony dome ship, the need for clean, personal transportation is very high). With help from a few local sponsors they were able to build this plane in six months time for a fraction of the cost of one of the more lucrative sponsored planes.

A real underdog in this competition, the Silver Stallion's pilot (shop owner Joe Mallard) and team Quicksilver are looking forward to showing that it doesn't take a million dollar budget to make a competitive race plane in today's Aerolight Racing League.

@AeroEngineering Sure. Feel free to add to the line up. When I've got a while bunch I may put together a splash image.

@A5mod3us well, some structural panels modded with angle of attack could make a nice encase circuit, then it just be added to whichever plane is loaded up as a subassembly.

@LjSpike Might be able to. For my Race Plane Challenge I was just going to use the Paradise Air Race course as the qualifier.

@A5mod3us it would. I wonder if we can get one of those 90% wing plane builders to make us some cool track.

@A5mod3us you know, the aerolights have given me an idea. A racing league in simple planes, with some obvious restrictions of course, that happens every x amount of time, with one entry, and then these planes do a timed set lap.

You should make a challenge to make aerolight racers.
