Scrap-Yard Flyer

101k Kerbango  7.0 years ago
Auto Credit Based on SlimSimpy's Scrap-Yard Challenge! [CLOSED]

New hire to Kerbango Craft Company, Will MacPhearsen was assigned the task of cleaning out the Scrap yard out behind the hangers.
Little did we know what he would build.
The Scrap-Yard Flyer has a Takicraft mallard Frame and body as the landing gear, as well as a front wheel from a motorcycle. This makes take offs and landing a breeze. Also it is VTOL, so landing is easy on land and water.
If you want to taxi around a little, throttle up no more than 25%. Feel the power of the hot rod engine saved from a totaled hot rod. But not too fast or you will start to fly. Which is okay because...
If you want to fly around a little put the trim down, this raises the outboard custom props inspired by an Osprey.
*Now throttle up with trim still down.

This fires up the main props and VTOL engine.
Body from an old bi-plane April, wings from some modern day jet, as well as the tail from a blue angels inspired jet.
Raise your landing gear when ready.

*Steer with pitch, roll and yaw, adjust speed and altitude with throttle and trim. *
Armed with 2 mini-guns, two standard wing guns and 4 sets of four bombs released with AG 1-4.

When Landing you must lower the landing gear ( the motorcycle wheel), as this will protect the front prop also best to keep the trim down and side props up during this procedure.
Don't forget it's a VTOL you can also land vertically.

Have fun.
