The Cursed Infant was the brainchild of German physicist Gottfried Vom Fotzenberg, who, after a few beers, thought it would be a good idea to fill a plane with helium. The resulting aircraft weighed a mere 6 pounds and was capable of sustaining flight at speeds below 50mph.
