IF-698E "Hummingbird"

377 Khanskaya  5.9 years ago

BACKGROUND:

a long time ago, I built multiple aircraft from scratch. since I wouldn't have to tablet for long, i made an effort to save my creations by taking about 6 photos of each angle on each aircraft and called these blueprints. today, I found these blueprints and attempted to replicate one of the first aircraft I ever built. it actually turned out good and it looks exactly alike (except the original had a red paint scheme). it is an aerial recon. aircraft and was not outfitted with weapons (there was a fighter variant powered by a jet engine but no existing blueprints or references were found in my gallery or Google drive).

STATS:

it reaches a top speed of around 330mph in level flight (low altitude; haven't tested it at high altitude) and takeoff is not super fast because it's powered by a propeller. it turns at a decent speed for changing direction but I wouldn't reccomend dogfighting or escaping missiles with it. Oh yeah, and I wanted to make it as close the the original as possible so since at the time I didn't have countermeasures and a fine tuner, you'll have to add flare/chaff yourself if you'll need it.

CONTROLS:

AG-7 activates drag chute.

good luck and sorry for the super long and boring description.
