@SledDriver I've created aircraft that have incredible performance, and I would be extremely happy to get 27 upvotes for them.
@KSPFSXandSP Humour gets upvotes, sure, but so should beauty and performance.
Humour gets upvotes, and Porcus had humour in bucketloads.
@KSPFSXandSP Yeah, what about it? This thing of beauty gets 27 upvotes, a flying pig that shoots missiles out of its rear end gets 60. Can't say that inspires much respect or affection in me.
@SledDriver Sure, but that's not the case. What about all the comments you got on Porcus?
@KSPFSXandSP A present to the community the majority of which has given me nothing but resentment and jealousy? I don't think so.
@SledDriver Noooo..... :'-(
Not even as a christmas pressie?
@KSPFSXandSP Certainly not now, after the stupidity I've had to wade through on the successor airplane's thread.
@SledDriver Are you ever going to release the script to the masses?
@KerlonceauxIndustries With this.
@temporaryaccount It's remotely-controllable, but most people prefer to go along for a ride. The VR display filters out glare and haze and enhances saturation, and provides an unrestricted view, so it's much better than a regular cockpit.
@temporaryaccount This is a remake with new technology, so there is no regular cockpit with windows - the pilot wears a VR helmet that provides a 360-degree view in the visual, radar, infrared, and UV spectrum.
@Treadmill103 Well, you'll have access to my scripts pretty soon, that might help...
@GhostHTX Thanks, and you're very welcome.
Christ. Thats beautiful. Also, while Im here, many thanks for the bomb cannon tutorial. Very good job, that.
@SledDriver very true
@BaconRoll Some shapes certainly work better with this building method, but remember that there's no limitation that you can only use sideways fuselages -- you can use any combination of straight-on and sideways fuselages as on my Fulcrum. Smoothly curved fuselages, wing roots, entire wings, you name it -- pretty much any shape can be built using my method, with the only limitation being the cross-sectional shape of the fuselage sections. I.e., out of the three orthogonal views (top, front, and side), you have complete control over any two you choose. The third one is shaped by the "corner type" setting, so the possibilities are limited.
@SledDriver very. I think a few jet fighters would look good in your building style. Maybe experimental planes like the X-15 or one of those blended winged aircraft that look a bit like your planes
Yeah it's pretty cool isn't it @BaconRoll
AWESOME!
