Introducing the J-1. This is the second aircraft in the J-Series. A multipurpose flying wing concept. Can be used as an Airliner, cargo plane, and others.

Maximum Speed : Mach 1
Cruising Speed : 650 mph
Powerplant : 8 x Blasto BFE120

Capable of flying almost perfectly straight at full thrust without autopilot.
Also able to land and takeoff from water. To take off from water, wait until about 450 mph and SLOWLY pitch upwards. Too much pitch and you'll lose speed.

Notes : This took me almost a month, with some hiatus due to school stuff. Sorry about that.

@mufasa6896 Thanks a lot! This thing is actually a mix of all sorts of flying wings that I found on the internet, some real and some fictional (concept). This is the result.

dude holy shit this looks slick, love the body styling, almost looks like a Ho229 and a B2 fussed, with some ref to halo as well. sick!

@Pauciloquent hmmm I uploaded this plane before the update, so I don't know.

@JovianPat Oh hey... So you tried it with 6 before and did not get enough air to the engines... hmmm... it almost feels like something changed in the latest patch... before the patch I felt I had to tune the intakes a lot to get the most out of the engines but now I seem to be able to just put them anywhere... when I get home I'll do some more tests...

@Pauciloquent Awesome research! Strangely, I've tested this plane with only 6 inlets before, but it just resulted in the engine not getting enough air. Indicated by the colours of the flames, which looks a bit discoloured.

@JovianPat Okey I've been testing ALOT and found my theory wrong but I stumbled across something else?!?! I was unable to increase the performance of your plane in the way I planned... BUT I'm able to run it with only five intakes ?!?! there is more to this then I thought so I will be doing some more tests... seems there is a maximum amount of air the engines can use but if you can use less air intakes then it might be possible to make more aerodynamic designs... The most speed increase I've got out of your plane is by using 15 intakes and got +249 mph at 20000 ft thats from 830 mph to 1079 mph but its slower by 10 mph at 1000 ft (yes 15 intakes looks ugly but 12 looks okey as they are in the same place as before just two more on each side)... AND it seems intakes don't need to be fully exposed to work as I was able to fly one of my planes with the intakes mostly inside to fuselage?!?! so it doesn't seem to matter much if the intakes are almost white or red in the "SHOW DRAG" function, and thats is where I made my mistake as I thought that mattered (placebo effect i guess)... I have yet to test the slim inlet... NEED TO TEST MORE...

@Pauciloquent OK. Looking forward to it. But the intakes DO get max air flow, since they are not covered by anything. I only put some wings on the top and sides.

@JovianPat Yes you're right eight intakes is enough but you can make them more efficient by putting a spike in them, I'll upload an unlisted example later it's an neat trick to get more power out of un modded engines... But it only works if the intake dose not get maximum air flow...

@Pauciloquent Really? I thought EIGHT inlets are enough... this plane is powered by eight BFE120s. So that means one inlet for each engine right? The inlets aren't blocked by anything, but they're hidden in front of the wings.

Love the way it looks and flies, top notch handling : ) but if you spike the intakes you can get a little more power out of the engines...

@PlanesOfOld umm this thing was in development for so long that I forgot what I was thinking when I was making this. I think I remember searching flying wing stuff on the internet and combine them into this monster. Thanks btw.
