PL-8B Thunderbolt is an updated variant of the PL-8A short-range air-to-air infrared missile (Chinese-licensed Israeli-designed Python 3).
To load on custom aircraft:
I) Disconnect the detacher with cockpit.
II) Save as sub-assembly.
III) Connect the detacher with aircraft's pylon or wherever you want.
IV) Default activation group for the missile is set to AG1.
