Hansa-Brandenburg KDW

7.6 years ago
Developed from the Hansa-Brandenburg D.I landplane, the Hansa-Brandenburg KDW was one of many floatplane fighters that would serve the German navy. It featured several features of the D.I, including the deep fuselage, small rudder, and it's unusual "Star-Struts." While the aircraft was good, it (like other single-seat designs in service) would soon be replaced by the company's W.12 two-seat floatplane fighter.
