Before the entrance of the standard HG.I to frontline combat, Messerschmitt designers envisioned the naval variant. The HG.I/3 T series began full-swing production in 1949, and the first units were deployed on the Annika-Luna super carrier later that year. The T-1 served the longest of all versions, seeing combat from 1949 to 1955. This T-1 is equipped with the experimental X-6 "Himmesjager" missile, capable of ATG engagements.
