AS-15 'Goshawk'
The AS-15 is a Close Air Support fighter produced by the Septan Empire and was first spotted within the Loose Chain during the 1st SepTerran War, it was first nicknamed the 'F.G.S.B.' or 'Flying Gray Shit Brick' by the Terran Armed forces during the war but would be renamed to the more generally accepted and known designation: the Goshawk, a contribution made by the Prime Earth Collective during the war.
When the Terran Armed Forces first encountered the Goshawk during their attack on a Septan-controlled planet, Terran soldiers were terrified at its ability to lay down accurate and overwhelming fire at an incredible degree, for a long time, the AS-15 was the dominant CAS fighter in the battlefield as the Endevaur 2 simply couldn't match its output of firepower.
The Goshawk is equipped with extensive electronic systems that allow it to utilize an advanced targeting camera to improve the pilot's accuracy when utilizing its weaponry, it also allows the pilot to recon a target's area at long ranges before swooping in to attack. Its twin autocannons also make it deadly against armored ground targets, and its wide array of explosives and missiles ensured it could stay in a fight for longer than most fighters.
In emergencies where the Goshawk's fuel lines would be compromised, the Goshawk could eject its Hydrogen tanks mounted on the wings, preventing it from suffering major damage in the event of an explosion, the Goshawk was also equipped with a Gatling gun to stave off enemy jet fighters if only for a brief period.
Its dominance over the battlefield would stifle over time as new Terran technologies made it progressively harder for the Goshawk to perform its duties and it wouldn't be until the bitter end of the 2nd SepTerran War that the Goshawk would meet its match in the form of the Python 3 Multi Role Fighter.
The fate of the AS-15 design is largely unknown, as contact with the Septan Empire would be kept minimal after the 2nd SepTerran War, though its impact on the history of the Loose Chain is not negligible.
Another original aircraft design from yours truly should be optimized for VR usage, have fun flying! :D
