Low-Part Edition (click here)

It's been a really long while since I posted something.

Converting this train to become SPMR-compatible (and more accurate) has been a project in the works for some time, but I only recently found time to complete this.

I was thinking of posting the other 3 SPMReady trains (seen in the header image), but I've decided to do so only after I release SPMR itself. In the meantime, enjoy this semi-detailed and accurate slice of Hong Kong!

The MTR M-Train (M for Modernisation or Metro-Cammell) is the oldest model of rolling stock running on Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway (MTR) network.

They were constructed by Britain's Metro-Cammell (along with its successor Alstom) between 1977 and 1994, and refurbished by United Goninan from 1998 to 2001.

All 93 sets running on the MTR are slowly being phased out in favour of newer Q-Trains built by CRRC, with the replacement expected to complete by 2027. Since 2023, a withdrawal has been made every month.

Refurbished M-Train

Driverless variant running on the Disneyland Resort Line.

Unrefurbished M-Train, 1979.

That's all for today. Goodnight!

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes ah, that explains why at first my cars fell through the road

  • Profile image

@L3FT2R1GHT oh I’ve fixed the roads. I’m just not sure if I did it before or after I released SPMR Early Access

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes okay. Also, make sure all the roads and grey parts have part collisions enabled, except for the ramps from the highway to the bridge going to Grunwick Station, enable part collisions on just the grey parts underneath. Remember, players might want to use them (I know I will).

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes I'm building a bus for SPMR, so will the roads reach every station? (if they don't, that's fine, people can always take the train)
