I'm back again! And with another project for you. This time I bring you the Gol GTI 2000, an extremely popular car in Brazil in the mid-90s.

History

Launched in 1980, the Gol(also known as Pointer in another countries) is considered one of the greatest successes of Volkswagen do Brasil of all time. It is also the first and only car produced in Brazil to surpass the mark of 5 million units produced to date, becoming, in February 2009, the first and only car to surpass the VW Beetle in sales. Pioneer to become the entry-level model of the Volkswagen do Brasil brand in international markets, and is the most exported model in the history of Brazil, with more than 1 million units sold to more than 50 countries, although it has never been marketed in Europe, due to the presence of the Volkswagen Polo, which, despite the high price in Brazil, is in the same segment as the Gol.

Specs

There were 120 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 18.4 kgfm at 3,200 rpm, which allowed the Gol GTI with a five-speed manual gearbox to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 10 seconds and have a maximum speed of 173 kph

CAUTION!!!

Do not make sharp turns above 140 Kph (68 MPH), the car can easily overturn!
