Submarine Challenge

Having planned this since before I was platinum, I present to you the Submarine Challenge! I want you peeps to try and make the best submarines you possibly can. You know and love my submarines, but I know there's others who can surpass me! So read the rules, think up your design, and get building!

Rules

• 1) Must be a successor. Download from here, take the Fuselage Art off and delete it, then build off the cockpit provided.

• 2) Must Be a new build, I wanna see some new submarines made!

• 3) IT. MUST. DIVE. A submarine by definition dives, so it must have some way to submerge (and surface as well so I won't count a build that just sinks). I will not accept functional boats made to look like submarines.

• 4) One Entry per person, so make it count!

• 5) Please mark your submarine under one of the following categories somewhere in your description.

Attack Submarine:

The classic underwater combatant, built for sinking ships and submarines alike, as well as more recent land attack roles. The Los Angeles class is a classic example. WW2 submarines are mostly counted in this category. Submarines such as the Yasen or Los Angeles Flight 2 and 3 classes can either be put here or in Missile Submarine.

Missile Submarine:

Submarines designed for launching different kinds of missiles. Guided Missile Armed Submarines and Ballistic Missile Submarines are mainly counted here, while Attack Submarines such as the Yasen class can be put here as well.

Special Mission Submarine:

Submarines designed not for combat, but instead for special missions often including unique gadgets. Examples include the USS Halibut and USS Parche.

Civilian Submarine:

Submarines built for non-military applications such tourism and scientific research. Passenger Submarines such as the Auguste Piccard pictured here are prime examples, as are more scientific submarines such as the Cyclops from Subnautica.

• 6) I will accept both fictional (whether original or from a piece of media) and replica submarines.

• 7) No mod parts please, see what you can do with what the game gives you. XML modding is allowed and encouraged.

• 8) Entries will be Judged under the following categories, worth 5 points each for 20 points total.

-) Visuals: How good it looks overall, and/or how much detail it has. This does not count how well the build looks under scrutiny.

-) Build: How well put together it is, how well the pieces are fitted together. This in particular details how well a build looks under scrutiny, how well the details are put together.

-) Features: Any special bits and bobs the submarine may have, such as Periscopes, Torpedoes, Deployable Vehicles, Missiles, etc. Fancy use of those crazy Funky trees will definitely count here.

-) Functionality: How well do its components work, diving, maneuvering, propulsion, weapons, etc. Notice you may only get up to 4 points max for a piston submarine that has no features.
