FN-35 Thunder II
In 2003, the US Government decided to have a multirole stealth aircraft capable of being used at sea and on land. The project went out to Lockheed Martin. The same company that made the legendary F-22 Raptor.
3 years later, in 2006, the first prototype of the fighter, the XFN-35, took off from USS Eisenhower to prove the fighter could be used at sea by the Navy.
After a few complications, the aircraft finally entered service with the USMC in 2015 designated FN-35 Thunder II, in honor of another aircraft I may release :)
Gonna make it short. Dont have time :<<<
