@SledDriver i want to see blade runner some time into the future. but at the moment is mortal engines and your name on higher priority.

@Irobert55 Yeah, I looked it up on Wikipedia. Sounds interesting, but anime really isn't my thing. I do like Blade Runner (haven't seen Ghost in the Shell).

@SledDriver the sky crawlers is an anime that follows a clone combat pilot named juichi kanami in a world that has found peace by staging a massive airwar at minimum over europa. i have even a plane from the movie uploaded (the someaka). but one disclaimer: the movie isnt perfect for every one. if you like the 1995 ghost in the shell movie or the first blade runner than should the movie work with you.

@Irobert55 Das Experiment is also based on the real Stanford Prison Experiment. Very sobering insight into human nature. Das Leben der Anderen is in a class by itself. It shows the destructive effects of living in a surveillance society.

@SledDriver die welle is based of a book. and yes i read the book and i saw the movie. quite erie how fast such a thing can grow but the most erie fact is that it has real bases (at minimum the third reich and the experiment the third wave on a american highschool in palo alto). but the other two not. maybe i should give them a go some time in the future.

Speaking of better things, have you seen Das Leben der Anderen? It's one of the best films I've ever seen. Das Experiment and Die Welle were also quite good.

@SledDriver we call such peoples simply: idioten, schwachköpfe, horst (its a name and a sinonym for idiot), versager, falchzange, flachwichser, dampfhuhn and many more names but all encapsulate and dumb kind of asshole.
