Elephant Industries P-99 "Dart"
Another late-war design by Elephant Industries, the P-99 was designed to be a fast and efficient aircraft comparable to the famed P-51. Powering the P-99 was a Packard V-1650 Merlin engine. Combining this engine with well-designed exhausts and Merideth Effect cooling systems held in the wing roots, EI was able to squeeze 1600 net horsepower out of the aircraft.
Housed in the wings were six .50 caliber machine guns capable of downing nearly anything the Luftwaffe would put against it. Also under the wings were two 30 gallon drop tanks to extend the aircraft's range. Excellent handling and a balanced feel made the aircraft confidence-inspiring and subsequently lethal in the hands of almost any pilot.

I'm not too keen on vee-designs, preferring the look of radials, but I'm pretty happy with this plane. I hope you all enjoy it too!
