The Panama Aviation design team decided that the even though the PA-1 fit the requirements, Panama's air force needed another aircraft. The reuslt was the PA-2, a twin-engine medium attack aircraft. It was equipped with four .50 caliber machine guns and could also be fitted with many other loadouts. The top speed was around 320 milescler hour, around 100 miles ler hour faster than the PA-1.
