STA-01 Swallows Kai is a further development version of the previous aircraft, namely STA-01 Swallows. STA-01 Swallows Kai First prototype first flight on July 19, 2022 and has landed and taken off 39 times

History

Construction

In 2018, the development of the Multi-Role aircraft for the Neo Shadow Navy experienced problems due to the lack of a design that met the requirements, then a Neorasian Navy officer suggested simply upgrading the existing aircraft, in the end the STA-01 Swallows was chosen to be developed into a more modern version. Considering the age of the aircraft, which has been in operation since 1979. In 2020 the first prototype of the Swallows Kai was completed and began its maiden flight on April 2 2020, Finally Mass Production of STA-01 Swallows Kai was approved and began entering the Production phase on January 9 2021

Akagi 1st Fighter-Bomber Squadron

The first squadron to receive the STA-01 Swallows Kai was the Fighter-Bomber Squadron from the Akagi aircraft carrier which was completed retrofit on December 4 2022. The squadron received a total of 9 units STA-01 Swallows Kai
