Designed to show you the primary differences between an assault rifle used by a rifleman, and a designated marksman rifle used by a designated marksman. Compare to the US Army’s SDM-R.
A DMR does not have to be specially made to fill the role. Instead, it may be as minor as modifying an existing weapon with a magnifying optic and a bipod. The most important part is the skill and experience of the operator behind the weapon.
