Intermeshing rotor helicopter. fictional. armed with 2 gattlings and 2 rocket pods. to start put the vtol lever halfway up. right now it can only stay in the air for a few seconds before the rotors collide, does anyone know how to stop this issues(eg: xml modding the rotors to not collide)

The blades are too close, try to leave just one or giving them enough space to rotate without taking a hit by the other blade. That's because it explodes.
