Shark Mk. 1 UCAV
Combatant Born In Heaven
The Shark UCAV is a revolutionary take for People's Republic of Dominion (PRD) Air Force. The regular UCAV limits itself to low speeds for efficiency, but because of the Shark's Sears Haack body, it shows it's real potential at high speed. The speed allows to bring massive amounts of firepower to the target area quickly and react better to the ever changing situation of the battlefield.
It's long range and endurance ensures it's secondary role of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) support. The Armed UAV Shark is a multi-purpose platform as it can perform Target Acquisition using the onboard laser designator. It is also capable of eliminating the target using its payload consisting of four smart munitions. Shark is a system that offers all cutting-edge solutions required to carry out surgical-precision strikes preventing the widespread damage to close areas. These features ensure civilian security as a first-order priority.
Awareness, Unrivalled
A highly modular and is easily configured platform with a variety of payloads to meet mission requirements. The aircraft is capable of carrying multiple mission payloads and includes a state-of-the art Detect and Avoid (DAA) system including space, weight, and power provisions to enable the retrofitting of an airborne Due Regard Radar (DRR) for operation in non-cooperative airspace.
The Due Regard Radar (DRR) is an air-to-air radar being developed under company funding to meet the requirements envisioned to enable Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) to fly in International Airspace. The DRR is comprised of a two panel Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Antenna and a Radar Electronics Assembly (REA) that give the RPA pilot the ability to detect and track aircraft across the same Field-of-View (FOV) as a manned aircraft. AESA technology allows DRR to track multiple targets while simultaneously continuing to scan for new targets.
Multi-mission Mastermind
The Shark can be configured with cross-domain capabilities for a vast range of surveillance and strike operations, including:
Precision Strike
Anti-Tank (AT)
Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW)
Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)
HA/DR – Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief
Search and Rescue
Law Enforcement (Drug Trafficking, Illegal Immigration, Piracy)
OMSI – Oceanic Maritime Security Initiative
Airborne Counter Mine Capability
Infantry Support
Close Air Support
