The 2S14M "Sanrio-M" was a russian attempt at copying the Chinese ZLT11 light tank, the tank was only designed for both export and domestic use.
History:
The history of the 2S14M starts with the Russian defense officials including the Sergei Shoigu finally got to see the ZLT11 in person, and after that, Russian Ministry of Defense requested the Uralvagonzavod to design a modernized 2S14 Sanrio, which has been using the wielded turret, the tank had a NATO Standard requirements, the design of the 2S14A Sanrio is very NATO influenced, so Russia got to work to copy the design of the ZLT11 but with rounded cast turret.
