Baisically a ballistic missile that doesn't use modded engines, etc in order to achieve speeds of 5000+ mph. Use activators 1 and 2 to alter the trajectory before takeoff. In order to launch, throttle to 10% and select activator 3. If you've realised you've messed up your launch trajectory, throttle to about 15% and use activator 6. This engages a crude thrust vectoring system which acts as basic flight controls (roll and pitch). However, engines will cut out if you move too far away from the engine block.
