Auto Credit Based on WalrusManufacturingCO's Historical Biplane Challenge!
The Airspeed Ferry was a 10 seat passenger airliner created in 1932. Sir Alan Cobham wanted a small airliner to carry paying passengers on short pleasure flights as part of his National Aviation Day air show. Being a director of Airspeed Limited, he gave the contract to develop and supply these to the company. Only four examples of this plane were built, but because the National Aviation Day show toured widely, they were the first flying experience for many people.
