an alternative upgraded design of Project N.298 Nikko, which carries some early beam-riding anti-ship missiles. her and her fellows just engaged(and defeated of course) operation Olympia allied landing force, to force allies to negotiate a white peace with Japan.

original type 5 Yudodan is a multi-role missile but have poor maneuverability(which could hardly hit any aircraft), if needed it could be changed into others

surface and air detection radar will rotate automatically
fire control and missile guidance radar will tracking selected target automatically, and so as main rangefinder and AA fire directors
if jammed try turn the ship

group 1 - main artilleries auto directing
group 2 - AA batteries auto tracking and fire control
group 3 - beam riding missile launchers
group 4 - portside 61cm torpedoes
group 5 - starboard 61cm torpedoes
group 6 - portside observation aircraft, catapult and crane
group 7 - starboard observation aircraft, catapult and crane
group 8 - main propulsion system and crane magnet

throttle - moving ahead (6 and 7 also control aircraft throttle)
brake - moving astern (6 and 7 also control aircraft airbrake)
yaw - turn the ship
pitch/roll - observation aircraft control
trim - main artilleries elevator (6 and 7)aircraft flaps and trim (8)crane hook cable
VTOL - main artilleries manual rotator (4 and 5)torpedo launcher rotator (6 and 7)crane rotator
landing gear - anchor

when engaging long range targets, observation aircraft will be useful to locate impact points in a closer view. and they could even be used as suicide aircraft with some explosives loaded(this is less recommended and no initial explosives loaded)
