This aircraft was made as a super sonic jet fighter developed by the Soviet Union the Yak 1000 was supposed to use the AL-5 engine but the production was delayed, the engine was then replaced with a weaker engine it began taxing tests when a string wind blew the aurcraft off course, the ailreons being unable to change the direction and it crahed Yakelov instead of fixing it decided to abandon the project and the project was dropped before the aircraft even took off
