The Neues Modell Luger Pistole (German: New Model Luger Pistol) is an officer sidearm of the Teuton military. It fires 9mm Krieg, which is very similar to 9mm Pilotmario. Unlike most pistols, it uses a toggle-lock action that contributes to its excellent accuracy due to the reduced reciprocating mass. Examinations done with captured guns indicate it is a finely fitted firearm with no expense spared, very accurate but intolerant of the slightest bit of dirt or sand. It feeds from an 8-round magazine in the grip, and uses a manual safety on the left side of the pistol while having a magazine release at the bottom of the frame.
